Jesus’ compassionate and merciful heart is the model we are called to follow throughout our lives as Christians. Having received God’s mercy and salvation from our own sin, we are also called to lead others to Christ in whatever ways we can.

Caring for those who are hurting and walking alongside them with Jesus is both our responsibility and a privilege of grace.

In addition, learning effective caring skills can help us become more compassionate and caring people. These skills can strengthen and enrich our relationships with our spouses and families, as well as make our relationships with others more meaningful and enjoyable.

No. A care receiver may be a church member, a neighbor, a friend, or even someone we have never met before. High-quality Christian care helps people who are going through difficult times experience the love of Christ in a profound way, rekindle hope for life, and find the courage to move forward.
